My Paris Brest (names after a bicycle race that went on between Paris and Brest), it’s meant to resemble a bicycle wheel (ours were mini’s though). You can fill it with anything really (traditionally a praline pastry cream and whipped cream, but you can add fruit, just whipped cream, whatever you want). I did a layer of chocolate pastry cream, then a layer of praline pastry cream.
